Conflingo is built around a simple idea: people should be able to find and create conversations based on what they care about and where the content is relevant.

News, polls, tests, football, matching and chat are supporting parts of the same platform. You do not need to understand all of them before joining a conversation.

Public pages are designed to be useful before registration. You can normally read content and inspect public activity without creating an account.

An account is required for actions such as voting, commenting, publishing, saving progress, receiving account notifications or using matching and chat. Some actions may also require email verification or sufficient account access.

You can browse and use the core Conflingo experience without paying a subscription. Advertising and selected affiliate relationships may help fund operation and development.

This help center describes the product as it works now. Any change that affects payment, access or eligibility should be communicated clearly where the relevant feature is used.

Language versions are separated so that navigation, content and discussions remain understandable for each audience. In discussion areas, a language choice or filter can keep posts within the appropriate language community.

The selector on this page switches between the English and Norwegian help centers. Availability can vary between individual product areas.

If you have forgotten your password, use Forgot Password. A reset link is time-limited and should only be used by the account owner.

Open your profile and use the gear icon to reach account settings. Available controls may include username, password, optional profile information, email verification, matching participation and deletion tools.

Go to Settings to view the controls currently available for your account.

When publishing, you can choose existing topics or propose a new one. Autocomplete and similarity checks try to connect spelling variants and typos to the correct tag so the same community is not split unnecessarily.

As more people use and follow the same tag, it gradually becomes a stronger signal in search, feeds and recommendations.

Location does not necessarily mean where the author is currently standing. Someone can select Torrevieja because the post concerns that area while planning a trip from another country.

You normally choose a maximum of one location per post so geographic relevance stays clear.

The feature starts only after you press the button and approve the browser request. Conflingo uses the result to suggest local tags that already exist, such as nearby cities or municipalities.

• You can keep the section closed and use manual search instead.
• You choose which suggested area is relevant.
• Precise coordinates are not published as part of the post.

This is useful for travel planning, relocation, questions before arrival, former home areas or stories concerning a specific location.

The place is selected from a controlled geographic result, so users do not create arbitrary spelling variants that split the same area into multiple tags.

You can follow both topic and location tags. Following makes it easier to return to communities you care about without requiring a hidden algorithm to guess everything.

Feed behaviour and notifications can develop further as more active tags and local communities grow.

News is designed to be readable quickly while still giving you a path to deeper context. A story may include a concise article, source information, publication or update details, an open comment section and a relevant poll.

You can challenge the framing, add information or discuss implications below the article. Public discussion is intended to complement the article—not replace the underlying sources.

Before a match, a page may show kickoff information, teams, model probabilities, available statistics, expected lineups, a match poll and pre-match discussion. After the match, the same page can be updated with the result and post-match context.

How to interpret predictions

• A probability is an estimate, not a guarantee.
• A higher probability does not mean an outcome is certain.
• Injuries, lineups, tactical changes and late information can alter the real-world situation.
• Model output should be considered alongside supporting data and your own judgment.

The discussion feed is designed for clearer user control. You can view new or popular posts, search for a tag, combine filters and follow communities you want to return to.

• Topics: interests and communities created through use.
• Places: local areas, cities, municipalities or countries.
• Near You: optional suggestions based on browser location permission.
• Controversial/NSFW: kept as a separate, explicit control.

This reduces dependence on rigid categories and makes what people actually follow increasingly important.

A poll should ask a clear question that is directly connected to the page. Depending on the poll, you may be able to vote while it is open and view the result after voting or after the poll closes.

Poll results are not scientific unless the poll explicitly uses a valid sampling method. They show the distribution among users who chose to participate.

Conflingo includes different types of tests and practice experiences. Some are entertainment or self-reflection tools; others are designed to practise a particular question format, such as matrix reasoning.

Important distinctions

• A self-assessment result is not a medical or psychological diagnosis.
• A practice test is not automatically equivalent to an official assessment.
• A score is only meaningful in relation to the method, questions and comparison basis used by that test.
• Individual test pages should explain whether an account is needed and whether results are stored.

Search can be found in the discussion interface and in other site navigation areas. It is most reliable for public content that has already been indexed.

Anonymous participation is intended to let you discuss sensitive, controversial or personal topics without displaying your public username and profile image to other participants.

An alias can remain consistent within the same post so replies are understandable, while a different discussion can use a different alias. This reduces casual cross-linking of your activity by other users.

Comments are attached to the specific post. Replies preserve context, while the consistent alias makes it possible to recognise the same anonymous participant within that discussion.

Automatically blocked comments may be reviewed so moderation errors can be corrected when context changes the meaning.

Votes can influence ranking, indicate agreement or disagreement, contribute to account progress and—if you opt into matching—help estimate compatibility.

You may be able to change or remove a vote. Bulk deletion of interaction data can be rate-limited to reduce manipulation and vote abuse.

Images, video and embedded media in a public post can be viewed by anyone who can access that page. Do not upload private documents, personal identifiers or material you do not have permission to share.

Anonymous participation protects how your account is displayed to ordinary readers; it does not make public media private.

Moderation is designed to protect the conversation without making legitimate disagreement impossible. Checks can assess safety, meaningful content, duplication, suspicious links and basic quality requirements.

What strong moderation means in practice

• Harassment and targeted bullying should not be normalised.
• Spam, point farming and repeated duplicates can be blocked.
• Controversial opinions may be allowed when expressed without illegal or harmful content.
• Reported or uncertain cases can be routed for further review.

A report should identify the specific content and the reason it may be harmful or inaccurate. Disagreement alone is normally not a rules violation.

• Threats, targeted harassment or encouragement of harm
• Private personal information or non-consensual intimate material
• Spam, scams, impersonation or coordinated manipulation
• Illegal content or instructions that create immediate danger
• Material factual errors in a Conflingo article or automated summary

“AI” does not describe one single system or one level of reliability. Conflingo uses automation for several separate purposes, and each purpose should be explained on its own terms.

Moderation assistance

AI can help identify harassment, spam, unsafe content and possible rule violations. This is a first-pass safety mechanism, not infallible human judgment.

AI-assisted news production

AI may help structure or summarize information from identified source material. Articles should provide enough source and publication context for readers to evaluate the information.

AI Quick Brief

A Quick Brief can summarize the article, describe the main themes in the comment discussion and summarize a poll after the poll has closed. It should not silently treat an open poll as a finished result.

Automated discussion content

Automated accounts may add questions or perspectives to low-activity discussions. This content is not a verified human opinion and should not be treated as evidence that a real user holds that view.

Automated fact-checking

AI can compare a claim with public sources and generate a source-backed explanation. The result is an aid to evaluation—not an unquestionable final verdict.

The brief is meant to help a reader understand the page quickly before deciding what to read in full. A useful brief keeps its information sources separate:

• Article: the central facts or claims presented on the page.
• Discussion: the main themes raised by participants, without pretending the comments are representative of everyone.
• Poll: the final result only after voting has closed.

Fact-checking can be triggered for news or user-created posts that contain claims requiring verification. The system compares the claim with accessible sources and produces a summary of what those sources support.

Readers should inspect cited sources, publication dates and whether the evidence actually addresses the claim. Users may also be able to react to the assessment, and substantial disagreement can be shown as a caution.

Depending on the features you use, stored information can include:

• Account identifiers such as email address and chosen username
• Security information such as IP address, device data and abuse-prevention signals
• Posts, comments, votes and other actions needed to provide platform functions
• Optional profile and matching information you choose to provide
• Cookie and analytics choices where applicable

Conflingo may use advertising and selected commercial relationships to fund operation and development. Ads should be labelled and visually separated from posts, comments and other user contributions.

Advertising principles

• Ads should not impersonate user posts, system alerts or personal messages.
• Misleading promises, false guarantees and scam-like investment claims are not an acceptable product standard.
• Consent and cookies should follow the choices and privacy information presented to the user.

External advertising systems can change, but the product goal is clearer control and greater trust than advertising designed to trick someone into a click.

Points are intended to reward genuine participation rather than repetitive activity. Depending on current rules, qualifying actions can include voting, commenting, sharing, referrals, verification, streaks or other clearly identified contributions.

Because amounts, limits and eligibility rules can change, this help center does not hardcode point values. The current value should be displayed at the action, in your progress interface or in the rewards shop.

Referral tools and your current referral status are available through your profile.

XP helps represent sustained participation and can determine level or feature access. Points are a reward balance that may be used where redemption is available.

Feature access can depend on account level, email verification, account standing or other anti-abuse requirements. This is intended to reduce spam without requiring payment.

Unlock rules can change as the platform learns which controls are effective. The current overview is shown at conflingo.com/levelup.

Streaks are designed as a lightweight motivation tool. A qualifying daily action can continue the streak, while a missed qualifying period can reset it.

XP and levels are only one part of abuse prevention. Effective protection can also use email verification, action limits, content moderation, device or network signals and manual review.

No single control proves that an account is human. The purpose is to increase the cost of abuse while keeping ordinary participation straightforward. Current access requirements are described at conflingo.com/levelup.

When you opt in, the matching system can compare relevant signals such as votes and interests to identify possible compatibility. A suggested match is only a recommendation; it does not prove that two people are safe, truthful or personally compatible.

You can enable or disable participation through account settings. Read the feature-specific explanation at matching.

Chat is available between connected users. Supported content can include text, links and media. Available controls may allow message deletion and ending the connection through unmatching.

Private chat is not the same as end-to-end encrypted messaging unless the product explicitly states and verifies that design. Conflingo uses technical access controls and encrypted network transport, but users should still avoid sharing highly sensitive credentials or documents.

Access controls can prevent public discovery of chat media and limit access to members of the conversation. Deletion and unmatching controls may remove content from the active conversation according to the service’s current data-handling rules.

Disabling right-click or direct downloads is not complete protection. A recipient can still take a screenshot, photograph a screen or use other capture methods.

The web interface periodically checks for unread chat notifications when you are signed in. A message indicator can show the unread count, and an on-page notice can appear for a new message.

Delivery can depend on whether the page is open, the connection is active and the authentication token is valid.

Use password recovery first and check spam or junk folders for the reset message. Do not share reset links or authentication codes with another person.

When contacting support, include the error message, approximate time, browser or device and the action you were trying to complete. Never include your password.

Public product ideas can be added to the feedback discussion. You can also send a message through the public Conflingo profile or use Contact Us for something private or technical.

The most useful feedback explains the goal, what happened, what you expected and why the change would improve the experience.

First refresh the page and confirm your connection is working. If the problem continues, avoid repeatedly submitting the same form or payment-related action.
